Rock Band...your a bastard.

It makes me sad, and I seem to have gone uber nerd with Rock Band.

But first let me explain this madness,

In every Guitar Hero I could only play up to Medium difficulty, Hard was just overboard and Expert was locked in a mesh cage with a bleeding head wound in shark infested waters.
So I said fuck it,

Now with Rock Band, rocking out in a band forced me to play my natural real life instrument, the bass. So I started off on medium to find it...too well, I wasn't able to keep up with the bass parts. However one song I was able to which was 'In Bloom'.

SO of course the next step was, to practice the songs on medium. Wait, no I didn't do that at all, I some how got into my head that playing 'Hard' would be easier then play 'Medium'.

That actually turned out to be true, 'Hard' seemed to be most natural for me. I then applied this logic to all of the songs.. ALL of them and it still holds true. My mom said to me "I'm impressed by how agile you are" (at the fake instrument you r-tard) which left me at loss for words to say. However something wrong happened, 'Hard' became easy agian, I wanted it to be harder... so I started playing Expert which I got down with no problem
Helmet, check
carbon-titanium metal cage, check
adhesive strips (fuck you band-aids), check.
Rock, fucking checked.

Now, one night while Neonic and VK and myself where all rocking, we had just acquired the drum set *que Zelda victory music* which VK is making soft-pads for now. So, Neonic took over on drums, VK sang and I...I played guitar *gulp* blahblahblahblah

In short, I can now play almost every song on expert guitar/bass and SING at the same time on expert...

Now if only I could transfer these 'nerdish' skills into my real life playing. Fuckle.

Guitar Hero you can kiss my black ass,
Rock Band :D

So those of you whom still lurk around here, I deleted a bunch of old post's that held no real relevance to anything other than boredom or I don't feel like I should reveal too the world. I'm a Freshmen at CoD now and its mind numbing contrary to the main idea of College supposedly being an epicenter of information. Ah well-

So a update of interest's is in order I suppose-

-Photography has become a main interest/hobby, couldn't tell you how that happened but heres a shameless plug to correlate with it-
http://paladinlink.deviantart.com/

-In relation to computers and networking, while it still remains a passion of mine that I seem to have a knack for, I've grown to the point where I cant just sit and talk about that awesome processor of yours, or how you have your hard drives in a RAID array. If you need help or advice I'll gladly help you but I loathe discussing hardware or computers in general with (for the lack of a better word) geek's. (Does not apply to TCP)

-TCP is life, and fuck those UDP bastards.

-Women, love em', cant live with them. Pass the beer nuts.
The latest interest seems to gone astray back into how we we're prior to dating. So that's always good. However that's all I'll say about this topic because again- those who need to know do and those who don't shall remain in the shadows.

-I love my 97' Jeep Cherokee Country with the rusty hood, and I love driving it, but I hate traffic and gas prices!

-Stringed instruments, I've gotten into swings of music writing consisting of my cheap Squire Bullet guitar, my Peavy Milestone IV P-Bass, and my Hartke SB-15 Bass. I had a Yamaha G-231 Acoustic Guitar but I gave that to Bill freely to not only help him learn something new, but to get college girls remove they're shirts faster (lol wut?) and I replaced it with a Washburn C40 Acoustic Guitar.

...so yeah, just a minor update and rant at the same time- heh
Summer is looking better and better.

Alas, the 2006 School year comes to a close (in about 4 days, 4 final days). I'll be saying good bye to a number of friends as they go off into the real world and college. And then myself and my class will step up to be the class of 2007. Seniors, bout damn time too!

Ah, this summer will be the best yet. Not only because of jobs, girls, cars and friends. But because 80's highschool movies say so. Oh I cannot wait.

Goals for Summer:

* Get a Job __
* Get a Girl to care for __
* LAN PARTY! __
* Get Jeep working __
* Hang with homies at all times possible
* Goodbye LAN PARTY! __
* PARTY! __ (check and more to do! :P)
* Procrastinate less
* Ill had more as they come.

Tim D's opinion.-
Now look, its nice and fine whatever you personall believe. However- there is a nice little piece of paper called The Constitution of the United States of America. Now the first fucking 10 Amendments are called the Bill of Rights, the first amendment is

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

In this country we have a line between church and state. (Granted while that line may be thinning) Her protests while are in theyre legal right to do so they are agianst the families of those who have protected that right. While all military wars may have not been to protect us- I am talking about every dead solider ever. Not just in the recent 4-6 years. Their protests are violating the families right to mourn theyre dead son in peace. And the fact that these people are using religion to justify their actions is nuts. These lady is a example of a religious fanatic. The 'enemy' in the middle east are also religious fanatics. 'GOD DOES NOT BELONG IN STATE! OR USE AS A WEAPON!

I suppose if you agree with mah statement feel free to forward it on.

Stuff going on has been normal as usual, lame.

I felt it was time for a update-
Now alot of you and my readers- all 2 of you -may not know this, but I think alot (or atleast I like to believe so).

And something on my mind just as of late- Why the hell do people feel the need to steal someone else's work and place someone else's name on it. Why just now I saw a bulletin on Myspace tittled 'George Carlin'. Thus being a fan I clicked and proceded to read. It claimed to be a message from George and continues as follows...

From a man who usually writes and uses profanity in all he does this is profound... Please read as it is good food for thought Comedian George Carlin's wife recently passed away. The gross and mouthy icon of the 70's and 80's has written something very eloquent...and so very appropriate for these times.

A Message by George Carlin:

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints.

We spend more, but have less; we buy more, but enjoy less.

We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time.

We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values.

We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.

We've learned how to make a living, but not a life.

We've added years to life, not life to years.

We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor.

We conquered outer space but not inner space.

We've done larger things, but not better things.

We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul.

We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice.

We write more, but learn less.

We plan more, but accomplish less.

We've learned to rush, but not to wait.

We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.

These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships.

These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes.

These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill...

It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom.

A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete.

Remember, spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.

Remember, say a kind word to your little children who look up to you, because they will soon grow up and leave your side.

Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent.

Remember, to say, "I love you" to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all "mean it".

A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you.

Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again.

Give time to love, give time to speak, and give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER:

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

If you don't send this to at least 8 people...who cares?

George Carlin

Now, me being a Carlin fan I did not believe this was by him at all. A simple search on Snopes clearly states who wrote it. Not Carlin, infact Carlin read it and said very emphatically denied he had had anything to do with "Paradox," a piece he referred to as "a sappy load of shit,".
Hmm

So, anyways I think people are just lazy. Even more then me. Linkage
